Itinerary
DAY 01: LIMA - CITY TOUR
Pick up at the airport and transfer to your hotel.
We will enjoy a tour knowing Lima in its three stages: Ancestral, Colonial and Modern Lima.
Our tour begins with a visit to the Parque del Amor, where we appreciate the extraordinary scenery of the Costa Verde and the Pacific Ocean.
Then we move to the Pre-Hispanic Lima Pyramid Huaca Pucllana (panoramic visit) ancient ceremonial and archaeological center built in the fourth century A.D. and considered Sacred Town of the Incas. We will also visit El Olivar Park.
Then we will arrive at the Historic Center of Lima, to visit and appreciate the Plaza de Armas, Government Palace, Archbishop's Palace, Municipal Palace, its beautiful balconies, Colonial mansions, main streets.
We will also find the Monumental Complex of San Francisco which is the largest sample of colonial religious art in America. Its main attraction is the visit to its subway crypts known as the Catacombs.

DAY 02: LIMA - PARACAS - ICA - LIMA
Very early in the morning, pick up at your hotel to go to the Paracas Spa (travel time: 03 hours approximately).
We will make a stop in Chilca to enjoy a delicious breakfast of chicharrones and tamales (not included).
09:00 Arrival to Paracas, you will go to Puerto El Chaco accompanied by the tour guide, from that place you will depart in modern boats where you can enjoy a wonderful tour to the Ballestas Islands, in addition to appreciate this wonder of nature along with the marine wildlife in the area, such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black cormorants or guanay, flamingos, parihuanas and various seabirds. Sea lions as well as penguins will probably come up to the boat and you will be able to appreciate nature's gift. Thousands of seabirds fly among the islands and their nests can be seen on the rocks. You will also appreciate the Candelabro; the guide will narrate the different hypotheses about its formation (approximately 1:40 a.m.). At the end of the excursion there will be a time to buy and have breakfast - juices, etc. Then the guide will take you to the famous stand called Dulcería Viviana located in the surroundings of the resort, where you will taste the traditional handmade chocoteja, as well as alfajores, jams, handmade cookies, stuffed mice, etc.
11:00 Departure to the city of Ica.
12:00 Arribo y excursión al Oasis de La Huacachina, el cual está ubicada a solo 5 Km. del centro de la ciudad de Ica. En esta hermosa laguna podrán disfrutar de la tranquilidad del lugar y caminar por los alrededores en busca de buenas fotos.
Then the guide will give the indications to get on the famous sand carts, where you will live an unforgettable moment of adventure and full adrenaline, where you will go at full speed through the dunes, you can also slide on boards known as Sandboarding.
14:30 The guide will take you to the Restaurant '' Catador '', where the grape brandy, known worldwide as Pisco, is made. It is a Tourist Winery of Pisco and Wines founded in 1856. Very old facilities that reflect the history of Pisco and the artisan tradition of the elaboration of Pisco since the XVI century, guided by an experienced worker of the winery. After visiting the winery facilities, visitors will be invited to taste and/or sample the main products produced in the winery: Wines, Piscos, Pisco Creams, Macerados and Mistelas. Accompanied by dynamic phrases typical of the city of Ica.
16:30 Departure to Chincha.
17:30 Technical Stop in Chincha at La Bodega - Racimo de Uvas, where there will be another tasting of Wines and Piscos, along with a live show of music or folkloric dance to the sound of the Cajon, dance contest.
18:00 Departure to the city of Lima.
21:00 Arrival in Lima.

DAY 03: LIMA - CUSCO - CITY TOUR
Breakfast at the hotel.
At the indicated time transfer to the airport in Lima.
Flight Lima - Cusco (on behalf of the Paxs)
Reception at the Cusco airport and transfer to your hotel.
At the coordinated time we will start picking you up from the hotels, to begin with the visit to the city and nearby ruins, we will visit KORICANCHA, the most sacred and important building of the Tahuantinsuyo empire, also known as Temple of the Sun.
We continue with the visit to the four ruins near Cusco: SACSAYHUAMAN (great fortress located 5 km from the city), QENQO (sacred amphitheater, center of worship to the god Puma, place where human sacrifices were made), PUCAPUCARA ("Red Fortress" due to the hue that acquires its rocks with the light of twilight) and TAMBOMACHAY (temple to worship the water).

DAY 04: SACRED VALLEY

El tour inicia con el recojo de nuestros viajeros desde sus respectivos hoteles, visita al Valle Sagrado de los Incas, sobre el río Vilcanota, vista a la ciudadela Inca de Pisac formado por grupo de andenes y estructuras arquitectónicas dispersas en las laderas y en lo alto de la montaña, luego visita al mercado indio de Pisac donde tendremos la oportunidad de conocer de cerca las costumbres de sus pobladores. Almuerzo en un restaurante local del Valle Sagrado de los Incas. Por la tarde visitamos a la Fortaleza y Ciudadela de Ollantaytambo, construida para vigilar el ingreso a esta parte del valle y protegerlo de posibles invasiones de los pobladores de la selva. En el camino de regreso a Cusco visitaremos el pintoresco pueblito de Chinchero, donde se encuentran los restos de la hacienda real de Túpac Inca Yupanqui. Admirará su bien preservado Muro Inca en la plaza principal y visitará el hermoso templo colonial con interesantes frescos en el pórtico, construido sobre las bases de una edificación Inca.

DAY 05: MACHU PICCHU
Breakfast at hotel (subject to pick-up time depending on train schedule)
Transfer from the hotel to the train station in Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes.
We will arrive at the train station in Machu Picchu Pueblo then go to Puente Ruinas station, where we will take the buses that will take us to the Lost City of the Incas, "Machu Picchu", the most famous example of Inca architecture. It was discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. We will enjoy a guided tour of the main buildings of the citadel such as: El Mirador, Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, The Main Square, etc.
At the end of this tour we will take the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will have free time for lunch.
In the afternoon we will take the return train.
Arrival at the train station, transfer to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

DÍA 06: CUSCO - PUNO
Breakfast at the hotel.
Temprano en la mañana, salida en autobús turístico con destino a la ciudad de Puno (3,860 m.s.n.m.). Durante el viaje pasaremos por la Laguna de Wacarpay, ofreciéndonos una vista espectacular de las montañas reflejadas en sus tranquilas aguas. Visitamos la ciudadela pre inca de Pikillacta ubicada muy cerca al lago. Pikillacta es una palabra quechua que significa “ciudad de pulgas” y es uno de los centros más espectaculares de la cultura Wari. Estas ruinas consisten de más de 700 estructuras de algunas murallas que se han eregido a casi 12 metros de altura. Seguiremos hacia el pintoresco poblado de Andahuaylillas, donde visitaremos el templo de San Pedro de Andahuaylillas, bautizado como la Capilla Sixtina de América, por su riqueza de arte colonial y frescos que cubren paredes, zócalos, techos y portadas. En el camino, pararemos en Racchi, donde visitaremos el espectacular santuario inca construido por el Inca Pachacútec dedicado al gran dios inca Wiracocha.
It has a large central wall with a stone base and other walls made of adobe. In the surroundings of the temple there are several old buildings used as houses or warehouses. Approximately 70 kms. ahead, we will pass through the ranch of La Raya, where we will see herds of vicuñas and llamas. Then we will travel along the Collao plateau, stopping in the town of Ayaviri, an important livestock and textile center, where we will visit the temple of Kalasaya, belonging to the ancient Pucara culture. Buffet lunch in a rural, quiet and peaceful place, where we will delight ourselves with the regional culinary art. In the afternoon, we will arrive in Puno and take you to your hotel.

DIA 07: FULL DAY ISLAS UROS + TAQUILLE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer from the hotel to the port to board our motorboat and visit the floating islands of Los Uros, which are approximately 30 minutes away. After a brief visit (40 min. approx.), we will continue the trip to the Natural Island of Taquile. Its inhabitants are mainly engaged in agriculture, handicrafts and fishing. The locals continue to live according to their ancient traditions and Inca laws with traditional manifestations, religious and folkloric rituals such as: Marriage (Sirvinacuy), payment to the earth (Pachamama).
12.00 Hrs. (half day) Typical lunch. After lunch: Passengers will have two hours free to visit the handicraft center of the village and take pictures with panoramic views and then return to the city of Puno (to their respective hotels).
