Boarding of intercontinental flight to Madrid.
DAY 2 MADRID (Sunday, April 21)
Arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid - Barajas international airport. Reception and transfer to the hotel. Lodging.
DÍA 3 MADRID (lunes 22 de abril)
Breakfast and city tour where we will visit the main avenues, squares and monuments. We will discover places such as the Plaza de España, the Gran Vía, the fountain of the goddess Cibeles, the Puerta de Alcalá, the famous bullring of Las Ventas, etc. Then, continuing through the modern area, we will finish in the Madrid de los Austrias. Enchantments such as the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza de Oriente will give a splendid end to this tour of the capital of Spain. Free afternoon. We recommend the optional excursion to the "Imperial City" of Toledo, where we will appreciate the legacy of the three cultures: Arab, Jewish and Christian, who knew how to live together in harmony. DÍA 4 MADRID • BURDEOS (martes 23 de abril)
Breakfast and departure early in the morning. We will pass through the vicinity of the city of Burgos, reach the border with France and continue to Bordeaux, capital of the New Aquitaine region. Accommodation and rest of the day at leisure.
DÍA 5 BURDEOS • BLOIS • PARÍS (miércoles 24 de abril)
Breakfast and then departure to the "City of Light", stopping on the way in Blois. We will enjoy the charm of one of the most impressive cities that make up the Loire Valley region, known for its beauty and its castles. The Château de Blois, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is considered one of the most important in the region. After free time we will continue to Paris. Arrival and accommodation. In the evening we will take the optional excursion to sail on a cruise on the Seine River, continuing with a full tour of Paris illuminated, a unique visit in the world. We will discover Paris from the river and enjoy the impressive illumination of its monuments: the City Hall, the Invalides, the Arc de Triomphe, the Opera, the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees, among others. Truly an unforgettable spectacle.
DÍA 6 PARÍS (jueves 25 de abril)
After breakfast, we will depart for a tour of the "City of Love", passing by the Avenue des Champs Elysées, the Place de la Concorde, the Arc de Triomphe, the National Assembly, the Opera House, the Louvre Museum, the Invalides, the Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower, etc. In the afternoon, we will propose the optional excursion to Montmartre, an emblematic corner of Paris, also known as the "Painters' Quarter" for being the birthplace of the Impressionists. Its small and steep alleys form a network that houses from the oldest cabarets to the wonderful Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Next, we will take a stroll through the Latin Quarter. This neighborhood owes its name to medieval times, when the inhabitants of the area were students who used Latin to communicate. We will also have a spectacular view of the Notre Dame Cathedral, where we will understand the reason for its worldwide importance. During the exterior visit our guide will explain to us about the events and the possibilities that are open to what may be the greatest restoration work of the XXI century. Lodging.
DÍA 7 PARÍS (viernes 26 de abril)
After breakfast we will recommend the optional excursion to the Palace of Versailles and its gardens. We will have an inside visit of the royal apartments (with preferential entrance), where the guide will tell us about the monarchic life of the place. We will also discover the spectacular Palace Gardens. Return to Paris. Free afternoon and overnight.
DÍA 8 PARÍS • LUCERNA • ZÚRICH (sábado 27 de abril)
Breakfast. Early in the morning we will head southeast to reach the Swiss border. We will continue to Lucerne, considered the most touristic place in the country. The city is located on the shores of Lake Lucerne and the Reuss River, with its famous Chapel Bridge. We will enjoy free time in this charming alpine village. Later, continuation to Zurich. Overnight stay.
DÍA 9 ZÚRICH • VERONA • VENECIA (domingo 28 de abril)
Breakfast and departure to the Italian border. Passing through the vicinity of Milan, we will reach the romantic and medieval city of Verona, immortalized by the story of Romeo and Juliet. Free time to stroll around and visit Juliet's House. Possibility of an optional visit of the city. Later, continuation to Venice. Arrival and accommodation.
* Closed on Mondays. In case of closure, a guided visit of Montmartre, the "Painters' Quarter" and the Latin Quarter will be organized.
DÍA 10 VENECIA • ROMA (lunes 29 de abril)
After breakfast we will be amazed by the city of 118 islands with its more than 400 bridges. We will visit the Bridge of Sighs and St. Mark's Square, with its incomparable scenery where the Basilica, a jewel of architecture, stands out. Free time at leisure. For those who like, we will organize a musical serenade in gondolas (optional). Later, departure to Rome. Overnight.
DÍA 11 ROMA (martes 30 de abril)
After breakfast we will visit the city. We will admire the unmistakable figure of the Flavian Amphitheater, better known as "The Colosseum". We will also pass by the Circus Maximus and the Patriarchal Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Then, crossing the Tiber River, we will arrive at the Vatican. We will propose an optional excursion to the smallest state in the world with only 44 hectares, but with an immeasurable universal cultural heritage. This visit will take us through the grandeur of the Vatican Museums (with preferential entrance) until we reach the Sistine Chapel. We will admire two of Michelangelo's masterpieces: the Vault (33 years old) and the Last Judgment (60 years old). We will continue to St. Peter's Basilica and, being inside, we will understand its grandeur. We will be greeted by Michelangelo, in this case as a sculptor, with the Pietà. Not absent will be the great master Bernini and his famous Baldachin at the High Altar, protected by Michelangelo's masterpiece, now as an architect, the enormous Dome of the Basilica. In the afternoon-evening we will propose the optional excursion to Baroque Rome. We will arrive by bus to the 3rd century Aurelian Wall to start a walking tour to the Trevi Fountain. We will discover the Pantheon of Agrippa and the historic Piazza Navona, where we will have free time to dine Roman-style: pasta, pizza...
DÍA 12 ROMA (miércoles 01 de mayo)
Breakfast and free day. Optional full day excursion to Naples and Capri. Departure from Rome to Naples, directly to the historic center of the city, continue to the port of Naples to embark to the paradisiacal island of Capri. Upon arrival, a private boat will be waiting for us to sail around part of the island and see Capri from the sea. Disembark at Marina Grande to go up to Capri (lunch included), the center of worldly life and glamour. Free time until time to return to the port to embark for Naples and continue to Rome. Overnight.
DÍA 13 ROMA • FLORENCIA (jueves 02 de mayo)
Breakfast and departure to the capital of Tuscany, Florence. Upon arrival we will make a walking tour of this unique city where art will surprise us at every step. We will contemplate the combination of beautiful marble on the facade of the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore and its unmistakable Giotto's Bell Tower. We will also enjoy the Baptistery and its famous Gates of Paradise. We'll look out over the famous Ponte Vecchio and reach Santa Croce Square to admire the Franciscan Basilica of the same name. Free afternoon. Overnight stay.
DÍA 14 FLORENCIA • PISA • COSTA AZUL (viernes 03 de mayo)
Breakfast and departure to Pisa. City identified by its Leaning Tower, accompanied by the beautiful architectural ensemble composed of the Cathedral and the Baptistery. After free time we will continue our route and, passing through Genoa, we will travel along the Italian Riviera to reach the border with France and shortly after to the French Riviera. Overnight. In the evening we will organize the optional excursion to the world famous Principality of Monaco, where elegance, architecture and illumination meet. Free time to visit the Monte Carlo Casino.
DÍA 15 COSTA AZUL • BARCELONA (sábado 04 de mayo)
Breakfast and departure. Crossing the regions of Provence, Alpes and Côte d'Azur and Occitania, we will reach the border. Entering Barcelona, we will make a brief visit of the city to visit the Sagrada Familia, Plaza Cataluña, Plaza de España, the Columbus Monument, etc. Lodging.
DÍA 16 BARCELONA • ZARAGOZA • MADRID (domingo 05 de mayo)
Breakfast and departure to Zaragoza, where we will make a brief stop to admire the oldest Marian Temple of Christianity: the Basilica of Our Lady of Pilar, which is part of the huge square of the same name. Continuation to Madrid. Arrival and accommodation.
DÍA 17 MADRID (lunes 06 de mayo)
Breakfast and at the appropriate time transfer to the airport and with a cordial farewell, we will say... See you soon!
