Itinerary
DAY 1: CUSCO - CITY TOUR + NEARBY RUINS
Arrival to the city of Cusco. Reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
At the coordinated time we will start picking you up from the hotels to begin the visit to the city and nearby ruins, We will visit KORICANCHA, the most sacred and important building of the Tahuantinsuyo empire, also known as the Temple of the Sun.
The tour will show us the impressive colonial city built on Inca foundations. We continue with the visit to the four ruins near Cusco: SACSAYHUAMAN (great fortress located 5 km from the city), QENQO (sacred amphitheater, center of worship to the god Puma, place where human sacrifices were made), PUCAPUCARA ("Red Fortress" due to the hue that acquires its rocks with the light of twilight) and TAMBOMACHAY (temple to worship the water). Return to the hotel.

DAY 2: SACRED VALLEY
Breakfast at the hotel
At the time of pick up at the hotel. Tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Tour of the town of Pisac, a picturesque colonial mestizo town. In the same way, on Sundays the mass is celebrated in Quechua. Then we visit on the way the towns of Ccoya, Lamay, Calca and Urubamba. Buffet lunch. In the afternoon, guided visit of the town of Ollantaytambo, where the archaeological park of Ollantaytambo is located, a gigantic agricultural, administrative, social, religious and military complex in the times of the Tahuantinsuyo. Return to Cusco through the town of Chincheros, ancient Inca agricultural center of beautiful Andean landscape. Highlights its colonial church.

DAY 3: FULL DAY MACHUPICCHU
At the coordinated time, transfer to the train station to start our trip to the citadel of Machu Picchu. After a 3:15 Hrs. trip, we will arrive at Puente Ruinas station, where we will take the buses that will take us to the Lost City of the Incas, "Machu Picchu", the most famous example of Inca architecture. It was discovered in 1911 by Hiram Bingham. We will enjoy a guided tour of the main buildings of the citadel such as: El Mirador, Temple of the Three Windows, the Intihuatana, The Main Square, etc.
At the end of this tour we will take the bus down to the town of Aguas Calientes where you will have free time for lunch.
In the afternoon departure from the train station in Aguas Calientes.
Pm. Departure by train to the city of Cusco
Pm. Arrival to the city of Cusco and transfer to the hotel.
Overnight in Cusco.
