DAY 1: LIMA - CITY TOUR
Arrival at Jorge Chávez international airport in the city of Lima.
Assistance and transfer to the hotel.
14:30 Hrs. Pick up from the hotel. We start our tour in the Huaca Pucllana with a panoramic view of this important ceremonial center belonging to the Lima culture. We head towards downtown Lima, passing through the districts of San Isidro, Lince and Cercado. We will appreciate the Palace of Justice, the Museum of Lima, the Museum of Italian Art, the French Palace and San Martin Square. Our pedestrian visit starts at the Plaza de Armas, where we will appreciate the Cathedral of Lima, the Municipal Palace, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace; we will have free time to take pictures of the attractions.
Ingresamos al Convento de San Francisco y visitamos una de las principales atracciones: sus catacumbas, las cuales son una serie de pasajes subterráneos bajo la iglesia, donde se daba sepultura a los antiguos habitantes de la ciudad y donde se encuentran restos de un estimado de 25,000 personas.
Finally we will have a panoramic view of the Parque del Amor, Pacific Ocean and Larcomar.
Overnight in Lima.
