Itinerary

DAY 1: LIMA - CITY TOUR

Arrival at Jorge Chávez international airport in the city of Lima. 

Assistance and transfer to the hotel.

14:30 Hrs. Pick up from the hotel. We start our tour in the Huaca Pucllana with a panoramic view of this important ceremonial center belonging to the Lima culture. We head towards downtown Lima, passing through the districts of San Isidro, Lince and Cercado. We will appreciate the Palace of Justice, the Museum of Lima, the Museum of Italian Art, the French Palace and San Martin Square. Our pedestrian visit starts at the Plaza de Armas, where we will appreciate the Cathedral of Lima, the Municipal Palace, the Government Palace, the Archbishop's Palace; we will have free time to take pictures of the attractions. 

We enter the Convent of San Francisco and visit one of the main attractions: its catacombs, which are a series of subway passages under the church, where the ancient inhabitants of the city were buried and where the remains of an estimated 25,000 people are found. 

Finally we will have a panoramic view of the Parque del Amor, Pacific Ocean and Larcomar.

DAY 2: FULL DAY PARACAS - ICA
At the indicated time, the official tour guide and the transportation will depart for the Paracas Spa (duration of the trip: 03 hours approximately). We will make a stop in Chilca to enjoy a delicious breakfast of chicharrones and tamales (not included). 09:00 am. Arrival to the Paracas Beach, you will go to Puerto El Chaco accompanied by the tour guide, from that place you will depart in modern boats where you can enjoy a wonderful tour to the Ballestas Islands, in addition to appreciate this wonder of nature along with the wild marine life of the area, such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, black cormorants or guanay, flamingos, parihuanas and various seabirds. Sea lions as well as penguins will probably come up to the boat and you will be able to appreciate nature's gift. Thousands of seabirds fly among the islands and their nests can be seen on the rocks. You will also appreciate the Candelabra; the guide will narrate the different hypotheses about its formation (approximately 1:40 a.m.). At the end of the excursion there will be time to buy and have breakfast - juices, etc. Then the guide will take you to the famous stand called Dulcería Viviana located in the surroundings of the resort, where you will taste the traditional handmade chocoteja, as well as alfajores, jams, handmade cookies, stuffed mice, etc. 11:00 am. Departure to the city of Ica. 12:00 am. Arrival and excursion to the Oasis of La Huacachina, which is located only 5 km from the center of the city of Ica. In this beautiful lagoon you can enjoy the tranquility of the place and walk around in search of good photos. Then the guide will give the indications to get on the famous sand carts, where you will live an unforgettable moment of adventure and full adrenaline, where you will go at full speed through the dunes, you can also slide on boards known as Sandboarding. 02:30 pm. The guide will take you to the Restaurant '' Catador '', where the grape brandy, known worldwide as Pisco, is made. It is a Tourist Winery of Pisco and Wines founded in 1856. Very old facilities that reflect the history of Pisco and the artisan tradition of the elaboration of Pisco since the XVI century, guided by an experienced worker of the winery. After visiting the winery facilities, visitors will be invited to taste and/or sample the main products produced in the winery: Wines, Piscos, Pisco Creams, Macerados and Mistelas. Accompanied by dynamic phrases typical of the city of Ica.  04:30 pm. Departure to Chincha. 05:30 pm. Technical Stop in Chincha at La Bodega - Racimo de Uvas, where there will be another tasting of Wines and Piscos, along with a live show of music or folkloric dance to the sound of the Cajon, dance contest. 06:00 pm. Departure to the city of Lima. 09:00 pm. Arrival at the starting point Overnight in Lima.
DAY 3: GASTRONOMIC TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel.

In the morning pick up at the hotel. Our culinary adventure begins visiting a local market, where we can appreciate all the variety of inputs from the coast, highlands and jungle that are used for Peruvian cuisine, we can also appreciate the wide variety of fruits of Peru (we will taste some typical fruits). 

Then we will go to a typical restaurant, where you will be guided by a chef who will give you a practical class on the preparation of Ceviche and Pisco Sour, emblems of Peruvian gastronomy, and you will taste typical dishes such as La Causa, Ceviche and the famous Pisco Sour.

Overnight in Lima.

DAY 4: DEPARTURE TRANSFER
